SEM two-way cross-lagged model

OLS models with one variable as independent variable and one as dependent variable, and vice versa. Then an SEM two-way cross-lagged model. Variables of interest included how much a person considers themselves religious and how likely they are in support of obtaining gun permits.

Overall results from the SEM model show no mutual and reciprocal causation between how religious someone considers themselves to be and how much they support the obtaining of gun permits with all p-values for related coefficients, showing no statistically significance.

However, it is very highly statistically significant that someone who considers themselves a religious person in Wave 1 would do the same in Wave 2, and someone who supports obtaining gun permits in Wave 1 would do the same as well in Wave 2.
